Brainboxes’ launched their new PCI Express range this year, including RS232 and RS422/485 products. The range has been extremely popular with our customers and we are now ready to release the following products into this range:
All our PCI Express cards, including the new editions to this growing range add reliable and high-speed connectivity via any standard PCIe slot (x1, x2, x4, x8 or x16 lane slots). True megabaud line drivers carry information at 921,600 baud, and 256 byte FIFOs with a user definable trigger level ensure the highest levels of data integrity, reducing the likelihood of dropped packets. They also come with Brainboxes’ acclaimed customer support package, including Lifetime Warranty & Support, that makes Brainboxes stand out above other manufacturers and makes us the serial card supplier of choice for companies around the world.

A Brainboxes’ broadcast customer, which specialises in bespoke development in key TV & video technologies including teletext and subtitling, has its server connected up to broadcast automation systems via Brainboxes RS422/485 cards. The full range of PCI Express comprises of 1, 2, 4 and 8 port RS232 cards and 1 and 2 port RS422/485 cards with opto isolation options available, and are supplied with an installation CD including manual, Microsoft signed drivers & utilities. Brainboxes is a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and these cards are compatible with 32 bit and 64 bit editions of Windows Server 2008, Vista, XP, Server 2003 and 2000.
