Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine has announced that Brainboxes has won the Mobile Computing category in the Best of Microsoft Tech·Ed 2005 Europe Awards. Brainboxes was nominated for its Bluetooth Serial Connectivity and CompactFlash products. The winners were announced at Microsoft Tech·Ed 2005 Europe in Amsterdam, on Thursday 7th July at an evening awards reception.
Mark Anderson, Chairman of VBug UK and category judge, explained that Brainboxes’ CompactFlash and serial products stood out from the other finalists because of “the ease of configuration of the devices along with the wide range of uses this application can be utilised for.” He went on to comment that “the judges were particularly impressed with the wide range of applications being developed.”
On collecting the award Eamonn Walsh, managing director of Brainboxes, said, “It is really good to have our confidence in these products reinforced by winning such a prestigious award.
