Nutek use Brainboxes US-101 USB to Serial adapter to upgrade production line conveyor belts in the field

Nutek conveyor equipment is used on production lines to automate transportation of Printed Circuit Board (PCBs) between processes. Within many pieces of conveyor equipment is a serial port used to communicate the state of its’ sensors and firmware, through a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Nutek engineers use Omron CX programmer software to interface with the PLC, in this case a Nutek Buffer with a firmware compatibility issue. The Nutek engineer has a Dell Latitude laptop which like many newer laptops has no Serial ports.
The US-101 USB to Serial adapter has a standard USB connection at one end and one Serial port at the other. It is small enough to slip into a laptop bag and can be plugged directly into a USB port or can be used with a cable. The drivers have been written by Brainboxes own development team, ensuring complete compatibility and trouble free operation. The US-101 takes two minutes to install and can be running hassle free all day long.

I would like to thank you for sending out the windows 7 RS232 USB driver. I have had a lot of problems trying to get my EXFO fiber optic test equipment to communicate with my windows 7 laptop. I loaded on your software for the driver and within 10 mins I could communicate with the EXFO. Exfo’s technical guys have struggled to find a soloution. For some time I have been searching for a USB to Serial adaptor that works correctly with the Fanuc CNC controls fitted on the 600 UK products that I support.
